I wanted something I can use for walking around town or on city breaks, but that would also work for shorter runs when I am away on holiday - hate taking an extra pair of runners when I travel! Saw these on Instagram and nearly got them previously, but I was nervous buying shoes online without trying them. But I got the chance in Berlin, and they were every bit as comfortable as I hoped. Looking for a sneaker that is machine washable and still won't lose its shape? Good news: all our shoes are machine washable. To prepare, remove the laces and insoles, place your Allbirds in a laundry bag (pro tip: pillowcases are also a good alternative) and throw them in the washing machine. Choose a delicate cycle with cold water and your favorite gentle detergent. Don't put your shoes in the dryer after washing, but shake out the excess water and let them air dry. Do your shoes need a little more care? Then simply get a pair of new laces and insoles.
